How it works

School Presentations

Students will prepare a final presentation at the conclusion of their design course to be evaluated by mentors and expert panelists. Final projects should address each evaluation area and adhere to submission requirements.

Project Selection

Panelists will select the projects they love in a preliminary selection. Final winners will be determined based on Problem Identification & Empathy Research, Solution Prototyping & Testing, Solution Design & Innovation, Implementation Plan, Presentation Quality and Q&A Performance.

Winners Announcement

Winners will be selected during in late September/early October and designers will be notified upon the final selection from the panelists. Project winners will be offered the opportunity to present their projects at the Tanzania Design Event.

The Tanzania Design Event

The Tanzania Design Event will take place on October 5, 2024, at Mwenge Catholic University. Teams will present their projects live to distinguished panelists and guests. Prizes will be awards to top projects.
